Welcome to GenE (General English). This course is organized as a guided sequence of activities that introduce a topic, explain its grammar, and provide listening and reading practice.

Suggested order: Warm‑up → Grammar → Vocabulary → Listening → Reading → Practice → Write

1. Warming Up (1)

Introduces the topic and the problem situation.

2. Grammar Focus (1)

Explains the grammatical aspect of the lesson, both in English and Indonesian, and gives practice on its form and usage

3. Vocabulary Focus (1)

Presents the words used in the lesson. The page displays the English word in an sentence and its equivalent in Indonesian.

4. Listening Practice (1)

Presents a dialogue of two or more people about their activities, situation, and condition and asks questions about their talk.

5. Reading Practice (1)

Presents a text and questions on the content, expressions, and words used in the text.

6. Oral Practice (1)

Describes people's activities, situation, and condition. The practice makes use of the construtions and expressions used in the Listening Practice.

6. Writing Assignment (1)

Submit the writing assignment of the lesson.

7. Score Display

Store scores for registered students (general users and course participants) and display scores on request. A total of 63 scores for students who complete all tests are available on the page and in PDF.
